Sento Imperial Palace was built on the occasion of the Emperor Gomizunoo's retirement at the beginning of the seventeenth century. Although the palace itself was lost to fire in 1854 and was not subsequently reconstructed, its gardens and teahouses remain.

17世紀の初め、後水尾天皇が上皇となられた際に造営されました。
御殿は1854年に焼失したのを最後に再建されませんでしたが、庭園・茶室などが残っています。
京都御苑内の御所の横にあります。
ネットで予約を取るのは　早くから予約すれば、難しくありません。
