Constructed by the order of the Emperor Gomizunoo in the mid-seventeenth century, Shugakuin Imperial Villa consists of three villas (Lower, Middle, and Upper). Its incorporation of the surrounding natural scenery into the garden design is typical of Japanese architecture. 17世紀中頃、後水尾上皇によって造営されたもので、上・中・下の３つの離宮からなり、 借景の手法を採り入れた庭園として、 日本 を代表するものです。 また 後水尾上皇 か！どんかい金あったんや♪と思うお庭です。過去最高に感動ものでした。 桂離宮よりすごいかもしれない。 借景が山ってのはよくあるけど 借景広い畑ってのはすごいです。 日本人でよかったと思わせてくれます。 Constructed by the order of the Emperor Gomizunoo in the mid-seventeenth century, Shugakuin Imperial Villa consists of three villas (Lower, Middle
